Specifically, we are looking for individuals who want a job with focus on optimization and development of the industrial environmental area in Bladt Industries. Specifically, you will be primarily responsible for initiating, executing and completing environmental projects within operations and production in close collaboration with our operations organization as well as environmental projects within product design and development in close collaboration with our sales and project organizations. You will be rooted in QHSE & Sustainability but work closely with project teams across the organization.

• Execute environmental projects within operations and production, such as:
  • Energy monitoring and optimization, waste and circularity, environmental preparedness, internal logistics solutions, ensuring compliance with technical environmental requirements for production facilities, etc.
• Execute environmental projects within sales and projects, such as:
  • LCAs on products and projects, cradle to cradle certificates, design for recycling as well as working with project-specific customer requirements in the environmental area
• Prepare environmental accident and incident analysis
• Ensure focus on environment and sustainability in relation to new construction/renovation of buildings and production facilities
• Adopt a friendly and cooperative tone, but at the same time stand firm when necessary
• Work independently and act outwardly in an exciting and challenging organization in constant change.

As part of the team, we expect you to:

• Have a background as an environmental engineer, marine engineer or similar relevant academic or technical education
• Have some experience with project management
• Have knowledge of certified QHSE management systems, especially ISO14001, possibly supplemented with auditor experience
• Have experience from the heavy industry and are familiar with the specific environmental risks within the area
• Have general user experience with MS Office and data management
• Speak and write fluent Danish and English

Workplace and travel activity

Your focus will be on our three factories in Denmark – Aalborg, Lindø (Port of Odense) and Esbjerg, with fixed workplace at our factory in Aalborg or Lindø. You will be expected to spend at least two days every two weeks at one of the other two factories. In addition, there may occasionally be travel activity.
