Manufacturing of the 68 transition pieces for Nordlicht 1 commenced at CS WIND Offshore’s production site at Port of Aalborg, Denmark in medio 2025.

In December 2025 our team completed the final assembly of the first Transition Piece, representing a significant milestone for the Nordlicht 1 project.
Overall, the project has had a very promising start.

The collaboration between Vattenfall and CS WIND Offshore is characterized by professionalism, transparency, and a strong safety culture, something we value highly at both companies.
We are committed to maintaining this momentum and delivering high-quality components for the Nordlicht 1 offshore wind farm, which is set to become Germany’s largest offshore wind farm.
