💡LOA was built as a three-masted schooner in Svendborg, Denmark, in 1920-1922. LOA is Denmark's only remaining three-masted clipper, it is Denmark's only barquentine - and the Danish Ship Preservation Trust has characterised it as a vessel worthy of preservation due to its importance for the general understanding of Danish maritime culture.
Team building reaching new hights: CSWO Apprentices en route offshore
On Monday, May 5 19 CSWO colleagues boarded the ship LOA in Aalborg to go offshore for the next three days.
This week, Hans Ole Sannes, Apprentice Responsible together with Welding Instructors Jeff Tornøe and Nikolaj Vinther Christensen, and the dedicated crew of LOA Aalborg took our apprentices en route offshore 🧭
Among other great sights along the Danish east coast, the colleagues visited Anholt Offshore Wind Farm and visited our Odense Port / Lindø facility - while doing some serious team building 😅🌊
“It’s more nerve-racking to climb these compared to the TPs. So, if you can climb these, you can also climb TPs. Usually, we just work. Here we get the opportunity to enjoy life together. We’ve definitely gotten to know each other on this trip - and found out that we have a lot in common.”
