At CSWO, we are committed to inspiring the next generation and providing them with opportunities to explore the exciting world of renewable energy. Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting a group of enthusiastic elementary school students.
This week, a group of enthusiastic 7th grade students from elementary schools in Aalborg, Denmark spendt a day at CSWO as part of Aalborg Municipality's "Snusepraktik" (work experience) initiative.
The "Snusepraktik" day, organized by parents, allows students to get a taste of the working world.
“Initially, four boys from Conrad's class signed up. However, to meet CSWO's goal of having at least 10 participants, I extended the invitation to the other 7th grade classes at Vejgaard Østre Skole. The response was overwhelming, with an additional eight students signing up, along with two boys who had transferred to Sønderbroskolen in Aalborg but heard about the opportunity from their former classmates. In the end, we had a wonderful group of 14 boys eager to learn about renewable energy.”
The parents of the students expressed immense gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the "Snusepraktik" at CSWO.
One mother even mentioned how envious she was of her son's chance to experience a day in our company. A father highlighted the importance of young people getting a glimpse of working life in a "real company”.
“It was fun to try, but I don't think it's what I want to do. I think I was pretty good at welding though. The foundations were huge!”
